Fourth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon

She had... basically nothing to do. No classes, no reserves meetings-- though there was still the issue of figuring out who they'd need to take over the group next year-- and even she had a limit on how much training she could do in a single day.

So Kennedy had ended up in the common room with more Thai takeout than she could ostensibly eat by herself and her laptop beside her on the couch; there was an email from her mom asking if she wanted to come visit sometime soon, and a couple from Dad and Constance about coming down this weekend for graduation, all of which needed to be answered.

And she'd get around to it, she would, except she was distracted by the movie she'd come across on TV. Not that the main character wasn't kind of really hot in a weird way, or that Kennedy could argue at all in principle with movies about girls who kicked supernatural butt, but as so often turned out to be the case she had serious quibbles with some of the details of the movie's mythos.

"Oh, come on, really? Who has a bunch of those lying around on the grounds just in case?"

Good thing she didn't have popcorn to throw, and had to settle for waving her fork emphatically at the screen every few minutes.
