Front Lawn of the Dorms [Tuesday afternoon]

The chill wasn't so much that Dany was uncomfortable spending time outside. Swathed in a cloak and armed with her grooming tools, she'd led her silver out into the courtyard for a little exercise. The three dragons were curled up on a small blanket that she'd stretched out across the grass, and were alternating watching Dany work, and tumbling atop each other like kittens.

Except for how deeply they were not like kittens.

Dany kept an eye on them, though, as she carefully brushed out her poor neglected horse, and prepared to take her mare for a quick trot around the island. But for now, she was content to watch her three baby dragons enjoy themselves outside, and listen to the quiet snorting of her silver.

Fifth Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

Bruce was only a few months from returning to Gotham for the first time in six years. That meant that everything he'd done here in Fandom, off on training trips, and recently in Baltimore, was so much closer to coming together. It also meant that he needed to start preparing himself for that.

That's why he was out in the common room tonight with a spiral-bound book of aerial photos of Gotham City. He had to familiarize himself with paths across rooftops. With hidden alleys. With places from which to strike. And the lighting in the cave was too dim to review aerial photos very effectively, so it was either in public or in his dorm room. He figured he would spare Chuck that.
