It'd be very easy for Annie to hate the world right now, but how could she do that when she had prom tickets to sell? She was actually able to go! And there was voting! And while she knew there was no hope of peom queen at least that was something she had come to expect. Unlike some mail-related issues, which-

Know what, not thinking about it, not thinking about it...

Annie was here, ready to be cheery at you, and also she might sell you stuff.

The room the sorority met in had the usual snacks set up, but it was also absolutely full of a variety of dresses.

“Good afternoon!” Rilla said, smiling. “As you might have noticed from the ticket booth in the lobby, Prom is tomorrow and I’m sure many of you will be attending.”

Just not her because she was a sophomore. Le sigh.

"So we thought it couldn't hurt to maybe try on some dresses," Annie said. She already had her dress but that didn't mean she couldn't try pretty dresses on. Look, she was having a tough time. She'd take all the girly pretty happy things she could. "And even if you don't want to try things on for prom, we have another event to tell you about."

Oh, if only there was a drumroll.

“We’re putting on a fashion show next week!” Rilla squealed. “We’ll charge a fee at the door and proceeds will go to the Red Cross!”

"Which means we're going to be doing some preparation, and figuring out what we're wearing," Annie said. "Which I'm sure will be a huge chore."

Rilla beamed excitedly. “I’m sure we’ll all find something very tasteful to wear!”

Yeah, keep dreaming, Rilla.

Bruce had kept himself busy working all week. But with prom tomorrow, he was giving himself a couple days off. Probably more if there was some kind of weirdness after Prom. That always seemed to happen. Bruce was being hopeful with his personal schedule, but hope only went so far.

So tonight, Bruce was in the common room. No TV, though. Just him and a book, and some cookies that he baked because apparently when he stopped doing work he had plenty of free time for things like baking cookies. And apparently Bruce was no good at not doing anything, unless it involved not doing anything in a broody way. Which, of course, he couldn't do if he was going to be properly social tomorrow.

Therefore, nearly spontaneous cookies, based on an Alfred Pennyworth recipe Bruce had memorized years ago. And he was making some more while he continued to read. Just for you, Fandom.

[OOC: I'm past deadline hell for the moment, so I post a CR.]
