He didn't really have a good excuse for it other than 'I was out late last night and my ass slept all day' either. Granted, it had been really good sleeping but not at all that exciting. It meant spending all day with his bed and his roommate's creepy stuff. He would have rather spent it outside, enjoying the free food and checking out the new students.
But, managing to wake up, tame his hair and put on clean clothes was going to have to suffice. Even better, he'd made his way down to the common room and found a box of cereal that hadn't gone stale that was going to be his dinner.
Cereal poured, Jim flopped down on the couch and put his feet up on the coffee table. Maybe there was something good on television. Space Battles was always on somewhere, right?
