Jasper felt lazy today. A week spent around dinosaurs being little to nothing should have reinvigorated him but it had just made him lazy. He'd woken up late from sleep littered with nightmares and come down to the common room as soon as he could.

He'd made a late lunch of pancakes but that was about the extent of his productivity for the day. He was sitting on the couch now, feet propped up in front of him with the plate of food near his hip. There wasn't anything decent to watch so Jasper just settled it on some news show.

Sometimes, if they were hurting for news story, they'd run something about his dad. They ranged from how he was faring in prison to what his son had been up to since Billy Dent's incarceration to the fervent adoration of his fans.

Jasper really hoped nothing like that came on today.
