Maria only had one class on Wednesdays, so before and after class she was sitting under the very glittery Homecoming banner selling tickets. Tickets that were also a bit glittery because glitter migrated everywhere. When you came to by your ticket or tickets. she would also remind you to vote for the Homecoming Court.

It was Tali's turn to run the Homecoming ticket sales table today. Not that she wasn't willing to do her part for the student body -- she had far too much of an innate quarian sense of duty to community to consider blowing it off.

It was just . . . that glittery banner. She'd moved her chair so she was as far away from the majority of the falling glitter as possible without actually looking like she was sitting here for reasons entirely unrelated to Homecoming, but the stuff kept finding its way to her no matter what. She was going to go through so many filters by the end of the day.

Luckily, if she was at all aggrieved by this situation, any evidence of it was nicely hidden behind her (glitter-flecked) mask, and she was busy browsing the extranet on her omni-tool to keep herself occupied in the downtime.

There was probably glitter in the Homecoming Court ballot box or something, too. She wouldn't be surprised.
