gavegoodface: (garak!Face: ugh humans)
[personal profile] gavegoodface
This was simply intolerable. He'd thought living on the station was bad enough, but Garak should have known by now that things could always get worse, and not only was he in a place filled with juvenile humans, but when he'd tried to leave, it had been ridiculously cold and he'd been pelted with confectionery. Confectionery! From the sky!

On the bright side, if you could even call it that, it he'd discovered that apparently humans actually were capable of wearing clothing that weren't jumpsuits, even if it still wasn't a patch on Cardassian fashion, and he'd found sewing supplies, albeit primitive old fashioned ones, and there now was a sign in painstakingly rendered English propped up in the lobby. (Away from the doors.)

FREE TAILORING

He had to keep himself from being bored somehow.

[Open! Face is now Garak from Star Trek: Deep Space 9, a completely ordinary tailor and totally not a spy.]

Christina couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. Her first thought was that it was some kind of Dauntless test, but they weren't really the type to send her to a place with soft beds, privacy, and plenty of food. She spent most of the first day looking over her shoulder for the catch.

After a while, paranoia gave way to boredom and she found herself in the lounge, heckling what she assumed was a television. If they were trying to show how bad things were before the war, they had succeeded: These people on the screen were idiots.

[OOC: Open like a common room!]
