Mae's Fridays were normally reserved for going exploring in digital environments over at the Holoscene, but she'd had a weird few weeks, and not in a Fandom way, so she was sticking close to home today.

Frankly, the fact that she made it to lying on a common room couch instead of just lying in her bed was a cause for celebration. She'd found some reruns of a show about fairy tale characters moving to a nonmagical world to work mundane jobs as store clerks, and now was staring listlessly at it, trying to decide who had thought it was a good idea.

"Thassa loada bullllll," she told the TV without pulling her face out of the cushions. "Stay home an' be a wiiiiitch."

Really. When offered a choice between witchery and food service, who the heck was deciding to be a short order cook?
