*hand-written notes appear all over the dorms*

MISSING

Two slightly-feral, sentient books. One with a blue cover, one with a red cover. Unmarked. Can pass as regular books on a table, so be alert. They will bite, and occasionaly will attack anything that moves.

If found, return to room #229, or contact Edward Elric and I'll retrieve them.

There's a note on the door to South Attic, that's been photocopied and stuck on bulletin boards and the doors of Lee, Aeryn, and Dom.

New Living Quarters?

The note reads:

Time to move out?

The Administration is set on the weapons ban, for the foreseeable future. I'm working on it, but the new Dean has made clear he's not open to discussion of the matter as things stand.

I understand why they feel the way they do, and I agree that arming untrained, angry teens is a very bad idea. I'm not untrained. I'm not angry. I'm *definitely* not scared. I'm willing to leave my pulse pistol out of the classroom, but I want it where I live. For my own reasons.

Anyone else feel that way? If so, let's talk. I hope I won't have to (*loves her roommates*), but I may need to find several new roommates. Female or male or other.

Beka

The note on Lee's door contains the added PS:

An invitation for Lee

It reads:

Lee,

Callisto and Illyana and I would like to invite you to live with us, wherever we go. For your protection and comfort...

*As Paige has now packed all her stuff she decides to ask Belthazor to come meet her in the attic common room*

*She sits looking nervous, she's pretty sure he wouldn't hurt, but he makes her feel uneasy*

Sam adjusted her denim skirt, worried that it was a little too short. Her hair was wet and tied back in a ponytail (she definitely needed to find someone who was able to cut that mop into something attractive before the dance, but it was too late to worry about it now). Her short-sleeved, scoop-necked sweater was blue and was made of some kind of fuzzy material that she couldn't remember the name of. It just met her waistband--she definitely needed to find taller friends from whom to borrow clothes.

She smoothed her hair into place one last time, then knocked on the door.
