Tick leaves the Rubik's Cube outside the door. On it is a note. It reads:

Aeryn! Thanks for taking care of this Cube of Wonder while I'm at the zoo. I appreciate it!

-Professor Tick!

Having been asked to babysit the "Cube of Wonder", Aeryn wanders into the common room in an attempt to figure out what it is. She knows it isn't a weapon, because otherwise the Tick wouldn't have given it to her, or he would have been blown up long before now.

(She does not contemplate IC the fact that her entire flist was having various degrees of sex last night, omg.)

Draco is passing the time until Lily is finished her interview at the Perkolator. He's sprawled out on the couch again, today's copy of the Daily Prophet on his stomach. He's not watching TV today though. He's made a origami bird out of the classified ads and he charmed it to make it fly around the room. He likes to make his own fun.

((The mun will be here most of the afternoon. She's got to write for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 and ZOMG Sleepless in Seattle is on.))

Sawyer is sprawled out on one the common rooms couches, he's nursing his headache with tylenol. Pulling on some headphones, he turns up the music, trying to drown out everyone around him.

Okay, Parker's not actually head-banging, but she is dancing. She's in a fantastically good mood. Mostly. She's really hoping Logan stays a bunny until *after* tonight's interview, but otherwise? Good mood.

Broots is on his way up to (a) give her the email addresses she needs, plus a copy of the research they did last week, and (b) sweep her room for bugs.

Hey, it's only smart. She got lucky last night. You never know who might be listening.

She is singing to "Chicago", doing all the Catherine Zeta-Jones parts.

It was a nice day out, and he was still a little soaked, so Tick sat on the front steps of the dorms. It was the perfect time to sit down and try the Rubik's Cube. So far both Rory and Becky had solved it in under a minute. Aeryn... probably didn't do much, based on the indentations in the plastic where she had presumably squeezed in frustration. It probably wasn't a good idea to give it to Aeryn, actually. Maybe he should have called Camboy instead. Oh well. If somebody had lost it, they couldn't expect it to be in perfect condition.

He started twisting the cube. Grunts, yells of "Ha!" and cries of "Nefarious Plastic Fiend, you face The Tick!" could be heard.

[OOC: If anybody wants to chat at this late hour, follow the weird noises out front.]
