Somewhere between nightfall Sunday and start of class Monday, a new crop of posters appeared on campus. They might have been hung by a blonde girl shuffling through grumbling about her lack of sleep, or by a slightly rumpled dark-haired guy questioning his sanity, or by a young man with brown hair who'd clearly rather be with his boyfriend, or perhaps by fellow who seems to twitch his nose or shake his tail every once in a while (do not ask, he will deny).

Left outside every room on the first floor Staff Quarters is a box of these with a note that says, 'From your new neighbour in #142. I hope to meet you soon, Tara Maclay.'

Jack has become a Lego maniac. (He is not, however, building this.)

He no longer has room in his room for his latest project (a scale replica of Fandom Town), so has moved it out into the common room.

Admirers welcome.

He hadn't seen or heard anything from Vala since he left her Sunday morning for work. He knows that just because they're dating, that doesn't mean they're attached to the hip but he's getting worried. Especially as for some reason her mobile is out of reach and he's pretty damn sure that there is receipt on the entire island.

He knocks on the door of room 215, and knocks again when there is no response.

"Come on, Vala!" He shouts as he knocks once more and really hopes Kara won't come out to kill him. At this point he'll be happy to let Vala strangle him as long as she comes out.

Not having had human companionship (other than doctors and nurses - not that they weren't human - well... some more than others) Shep has camped out in the 4th floor common room. He has snacks and soda and has his laptop out. He's reasonably certain that if he tried hard enough he could find out what assignments he missed on Friday so he could get them made up, but... well, there were Sims to play.

And with any luck at all, someone would come by and entertain him.

Jack can be seen walking through the dorms with several rolls of duct-tape decorating his arms like bracelets, he's wistling some random tune and has a large stack of paper under each arm. Every so often he'll pass out a piece of paper from one stack or stop to tape something to the walls.

Just say yes to unsafe sex! (Image Heavy - Not Dial-Up Friendly) )

After Journalism class concludes, Oz and Connor ([livejournal.com profile] teen_twin) hit the pavement, wandering campus with Oz playing his guitar while Connor sings to promote their "Just Say Yes To School Politics" campaign. He sings known tunes from the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith (hey, they're from Boston, he's lived in Boston...What do you expect?), Neil Young, and other big name musicians, as well as a song he wrote specifically for the project. The big name songs are mostly to get people to pay attention, and segue in to his original Pro-School Politics song.

Feel free to tap out the beat with your foot, or boo the effort. The whole point is to react, people. React!

Anders leaves a note on Bridge's door to say that he'll be down in the gym, just in case Bridge comes by to install the new lock while he's out. He doesn't feel like waiting for Kara, and figures she'll come find him down in the gym eventually, so he grabs his Pyramid ball and protective gear from his room and heads down to start practicing.

Luckily the gym is empty when he gets there, and he starts working on his rebounding, bouncing the ball off the walls at weird angles to see how well he can read them. After about twenty minutes of this he switches to footwork drills, and spends an hour or so on those. He likes the sound in here -- it's a weird symphony of his shoes squeaking on the floor and the reverberation of the Pyramid ball against the walls, and the rhythm of his own breathing.

Rogue can be seen posting several flyers and posters in the hallways of the school, and all over the cafeteria and library. She has a tape dispenser in her mouth, stopping every so often to shift the posters under one arm or the other. At one point, she drops them, and they all go flying. She swears, and gathers them, continuing on her way.

[[Posted in FHDorms, because I didn't know if I was allowed to post something like this in FH proper. Assume this is in the actual school, not the dormitories. Reactions will be rewarded with smut!fic and chocolate. E-chocolate.]]

Three sides. He's halfway there. Soon he would no longer have to wonder about the cube!

And then disaster. Within three twists, he had lost it all. Ah well, might as well keep going. It was a nice night on the roof, anyway. If anyone happened to show up on the roof and distract him - or help him - he wouldn't object.

He might question what they were doing on the roof, though.
