Shep had woken up early for no discernible reason. Deciding that if he was up, he might as well be up, he throws on some sweats and heads down to the front of the dorm to stretch and see if anyone else is up.

For some reason Lana couldn't sleep this morning. After tossing and turning for a while she finally gave up and wandered down to the common room. She curled up on the couch and turned on the TV, flipping around till she found something interesting.

She stumbled across an old episode of "The Farthest Edges" with an actor who looked frighteningly similar to Principal Bristow and settled back to watch it and maybe doze a little.

It would be difficult to tell where Tick got all of the decorations. It's possible that he bought some at the NPC Christmas store. It's possible that he bought some online. It's also possible that the frankly terrifying packing skills he showed while carrying around costumes for the pageant have served well for Tick's Christmas decorations.

He hadn't been doing anything the past couple days, so he decorated his room.

If he had his door open, the light might be seen from the lobby. If you walked inside the room, the instrumental version of "Winter Wonderland" on repeat would surely drive you insane. On the big table in the middle of the room was a model of the school made from popsicle sticks with some fake snow sprinkled on it. There were working lights. And a tiny blue figure on the Dorm roof. And then the less said about the tree in the corner of the room, the better. One word: Shiny.

It all looked too festive. The kind of festive that you could only achieve by being a *mumble-mumble* year-old man who still believed in Santa Claus. Granted, Tick had indeed met the real Santa Claus a few years ago, so it's not that strange that he believed in the big guy. That was just a way of highlighting how festive it all looked.

There are cookies for any visitors who may stop in. Any visitors may also notice a wee purple dragon wearing earmuffs and clutching them to his head to drown out the music.

After returning from Chicago and checking in on Angela, Marty collapses in the common room and flips on the TV to watch "Mr. What." It's the story of a time travelling alien who looks human, speaks with an english accent and travels through dimensions and time in what looks like a refrigerator box.

Tonight Mr. What is battling the Dollex with the help of Daisy and Shack.

[OOC: Feel free to sit down and watch.]
