'There's nothing a good sleep won't cure,' Alphonse had told Sakurazaki last night, but a good sleep was no where to be found. Not with the knowledge of him sleeping so close in an alcove near her, not with her mind still reeling through its strange cloudiness, trying to put pieces of one and two and three together and doing an extremely poor job of it.

She desperately needed to meditate on this.

So, in the wee hours of the morning, since she couldn't sleep anyway, Sakurazaki settled with her legs folded underneath her at the bottom of tree on the edge of the Puffin campfire, drew in a deep breath, and tried to collect herself. She focused on her breathing, knowing that she'd need to chose something simple, something important, to centre herself, otherwise she'd just get lost again. Breathe in...and out. Breathe in...and out. Cleansing breaths, revitalizing breaths. Important to life, important to clarity. She'd clear her lungs and clear her mind.

[[~open! class in a little bit, will catch dropped pings if any after that]]

Blair sat on the ground in front of the campfire surrounded by english muffins and various breakfast supplies. Contrary to usual breakfast bars in Fandom, Blair is not sharing because making mcmuffins by campfire is not as easy as it looks.

"Ouch!" A muffin sailed up in the air before landing cheesy-side down on the ground. "Frakking stupidhead muffins."

Sure, Anakin had brought back a bunch of Force toys back with him from Coruscant. He'd even taken them outside of the cabin to play around with work with.

But instead he was tossing croissants through the air, watching them fall and frowning.

No reason why. Really.

[OOC: Come and boggle at the Jedi. He's used to it.]

Camp gym, morning

Cameron had no classes today so he didn't need to get up super early to get in some quality training before Veronica arrived. Still, he's already there and working his way through a couple of drills.

((Open. Thread between V and Cam is locked to them.))

Conner had a small fire going in his cabin's campfire pit and was sitting cross-legged in front of it, trying out some of the meditation techniques that Sakurazaki had shown him in the morning.

He kept getting distracted, though, since he still couldn't figure out what exactly it was that Nadia had found so funny last night, and it was perplexing enough to constantly break him out of whatever bit of meditative trance he managed to get into. So after about a half hour of frustration, he gave up and went into his alcove to grab a hacky sack.

Heading back out to the campfire, Conner went into a hacky sack drill and lost himself soon enough in the movements, reacting instead of thinking, just getting into the flow of it. In the end, it pretty much amounted to a slightly sweatier version of the same thing.

Sakurazaki had found the set-up of the living room for the documentary showing quite simple, cleaning up a little, pulling in some extra seating should they nead it, and scattering a spread of snacks and drinks over a table off to the side. Not that she really expected much of a turn-out, anyway, but she couldn't help but feel like she was missing something. She'd never really set up an event before.

But here it was. The directorial debuts of Setsuna Sakurazaki and Pippi Longstocking. The more she considered it, the more Sakurazaki felt that her name really was quite catchy as a director's name.

It was morning and Fry was awake. This could have been a sign of the apocalypse, but everything else was normal. He was wearing only his underwear (white briefs) and was eating a bowl of cereal with a high sugar content and drinking coffee.

Coffee coffee coffee. Free coffee!

All was right with the world. Except that it was morning, but that would change soon enough.

(OOC - All welcome!)

After finishing up and sending off his article for the Hightimes, Peter walked out by the mightiest campfire in the land and took a seat. He started to juggle rocks. No, it wasn't terribly interesting, but it was a nice night to sit out and do anything to pass the time. So it worked for now.

[OOC: Open like a thing that is out enclosed by walls or locks or other things that might make something not open.]
