After a particularly sleepless night, Ray'd given up trying to get sleep in and stumbled down to the gym. He'd been remiss lately, more content to drink, eat and sleep like a lazy idiot.

He's trying to make up for that by beating on the punching bag particularly hard. The punching bag isn't impressed.

[The gym is open!]

Sokka settled down to enjoy a class-free morning in front of the teevee box, and managed to happen across children's educational programming.

'The Holy Grail!', he would have thought, or 'the Rosetta Stone!' -- if he had any idea what either of those were, but he doesn't. What he DOES know is that he may just be able to figure out the weird system of writing around here without having to *gasp* ask someone for help.

So, he has settled in to absorb as much Poppyseed Lane as humanly possible, and take copious notes. Copious. Like, a lot.

Within the first ten minutes, the purple puppet with fangs has already unlocked the mysteries of the way Fandom writes numbers by counting to ten ("Ah-ah-ah!"), the Pastry Monster has begun his journey into letters with "P is for Pastry", and two people did a dance while telling him it's okay to mispronounce "tomato".

Now... He threw a pillow at the teevee box. "I already know the difference between 'near' and 'far', you stupid puppet!" he shouted at it.

Having gone to the office to get her mini-vacation with Father approved, Ami sat down in the 4th floor common room to do a bit of reading. She had several College catalogs in front of her, and her computer was nearby for reference purposes. A large bowl of popcorn was on the floor where she could reach it.

Pippi? Is bored.

Normally, this is a very dangerous state of affairs. This time however, the net result is simply her sitting on the edge of the roof with her feet dangling over and humming.

"Hmmm mmmm Hmmm mmm Hmmm mmmm Hmmmmmmmmm... Yo ho. Hmmmmm mmmm mmmm really bad eggs... Hmmmm hmmm mmmm yo ho..."

Jim wandered out to the common room with a bowl of candy - which included a few Canary Creams from the joke shop mixed in there - and turned on the second night of the season premiere of 60. There might be dead terrorists on the screen and there might be people turning into giant birds in the common room. No matter what, Jim figured he was going to be entertained tonight.

He couldn't help but wonder who was playing the one guy. "I know I've seen him in something. Oh! Wait! The stoner movie! The guy from the White Castle movie!" Jim was way too excited about figuring that out.

[OOC: Open as a common room tends to be. There are a handful of Canary Creams in the candy bowl. If you want to eat one, feel free. You'll be a giant canary for the span of a comment or so. And 60 is, of course, 24. Unless somebody directs me to a different meta for it.

Also, I'm American. I didn't know about any Australian politicians named John Howard. But meta-Bauer has a slight Australian accent Australia has a meta-Bauer accent because of it, okay?]

After leaving the clinic, Nadia made it as far as the grounds of the school before her knees went out and she stumbled to the grass. The adrenalin she'd been riding since having the dream, and the emergency calm of having to take care of Cally when she found her was completely gone now, and she felt like she was going to be sick.

Janet had said Cally would be alright. She'd practically promised. But whomever had done it, and whomever had attacked Dr. Wilson was still out and about, and her stupid dreams wouldn't even show her who it was.

She knelt down and pressed her head into her hands, trying to take deep breaths around the lump in her throat and calm down.

It wasn't working so well.

[ooc: open for whoever might stumble across Nadia late at night outside, and doesn't mind dealing with Panic-Girl.]

Tori entered the gym and finding the punching bag to be unoccupied, she smiled. She started laying into it, still somewhat reeling over the fact that she'd tried out for the cheerleading team.

Not that cheerleading was a bad thing, she wasn't thinking that at all, just that she'd never imagined doing something like that. It was just... different.

After going at the punching for a bit, she'd hit the mats and go through some routines she'd learned at the Wind Ninja Academy.

[OOC: Post is open. Obviously the gym is open! :) SP is love.]
