Blair had successfully avoided talking about anything Miranda-related for all of Monday. Hanging around River long enough had taught him how to push things to the back of his mind fairly well. Knowing that it couldn't last forever he made his way to the roof with a blanket and took a seat where he could see the grounds.

The height didn't thrill him that much, but it seemed like a convenient place to be by himself but still see hear the sounds of people being alive. After Miranda, he wasn't so interested in finding silence.

[The emo roof is open!]

The posters advertising the dance were still there as well as more balloons and fresh Valentine's themed baked goods. There were tickets available for the dance as well as the sign-up sheet for the rose sale.

Isabel sat back and sipped her coffee, trying to look cheerier then she felt.

[Handwaving getting tickets or flowers is just fine. But chatting is always welcome. I'll be around most of the day. Comments on the flower post ARE screened.]

John put the form on the table, and sat in the chair, waiting for Ami and her coding mastery to pair up students. There was a box on the table that said "Forms go here" and an extra chair for Ami to sit behind the table. Also behind the table? Snacks. And coffee.

There were signs on the table:

Need A Date For The Dance?
Fill out this form and let our sophisticated software match you up with a potential date for the dance. Will there be romance in your life? Find out!

[ooc: John and Ami will match up your characters. Can be serious or comedic. Post open all day, John!Mun is off for work (no LJ access at work; ping me at jamesmovespeople) and the lurvely Ami!Mun is available.]

Nadia didn't have any classes on Tuesdays, so she was in the common room, sitting up with her laptop, the speakers turned up rather loud in an attempt to make sure she didn't unexpectedly fall asleep, as she tooled around the internet, looking for inspiration for something to do for Walter for Valentine's Day.

She paused every now and then to reflect that Valentine's Day had been a whole lot easier when she was single and didn't have to worry about weird traditions that she wasn't entirely familiar with.

[ooc: ooooopen. We're actually slow at work, today, despite there being three people out due to bad weather. . . .]

Deciding to get a different view of the world and a bit of dinner while he studied, Neil had packed up his books and shuffled himself out into the common room. He left the TV off, opting instead to flip on the radio before walking over to see what he could pull together for a bit of dinner.

Hmmm... well, it was soup and grilled cheese kinda weather. With a small shrug, Neil pulled out the appropriate fixings and began to cook.

[ooc: Open as common rooms usually are.]
