Rubbing his eyes but pretty much recovered from his transit-induced nap, Jude rolled into the lobby with his backpack slung over his back and glittering suspiciously. Toronto had been fun and his friends had been great - they had even hit the Bloor Cinema for that campy flick with Tim Curry in the fishnets last Friday - but there was just something about Fandom that made it good to be home.

Okay, there was a bunch of specific things about Fandom that made it good to be home.

Pippi is lounging on the couch with a book and a large bowl of popcorn with m&m's mixed in.

Hmmm, salty AND sweet.

The book, oddly enough, is about fighter pilots dogfighting over Vietnam.

Billy wasn't experienced with throwing parties. Fortunately this wasn't a party. There was pizza and soda, but that was it.

Except for the writing materials and even a sketchpad or two.

He wondered who would show up. Was there anyone else that he didn't know about?

Rikku stood at the edge of the preserve. "Okay, are we ready for this?"

She looked around at the others, wondering why she was nervous. It was a lichen. A plant. This was totally doable. Probably.

They had spray bottles of some mixture of holy water and weed killer - Hermione had said it was Fred's idea, and whoever this Fred was, he was a genius. And they had their own wits and strength and luck. Plenty enough to take on an insane plant and save her roommate. This lichenthrope was going down.

She wasn't nervous. Mostly.

[OOC: D'OH! Come in to lichenchat on AIM for planning purposes! My bad!]

It was that time again.

Yes, time for pacing, smoking, and thinking. No, really, thinking and not brooding. For real.

If Anders were brooding he'd be taking care to stay away from the corner of the roof where Bel's garden was. As it was, this was non-emo, hopefully productive thinking -- so he felt justified in gazing thoughtfully at the garden as he puffed away.

[OOC: Expecting [livejournal.com profile] nadiathesaint, but open in a rooflike manner.]
