Tori felt restless and a tiny bit frustrated at what had happened over the past weekend; the alien abductions still on her mind. She knew it was over, but seeing Ami and Liz in the clinic only helped to anger her more.

So, she was now currently wailing on the punching bag, going through a series of kicks and punches she had learned while at the Wind Academy. Beating on the bag would hopefully help her get her anger out along with that of her mun, because omg midterms!

A towel and water bottle rested on the mats, nearby.

There were many places on the island that Billy thought would be great for appreciating the rain. But just now he didn't feel like going out. So he posted himself up on the roof, bundled up against the cold, draped in a long poncho, and holding an umbrella.

He alternated between looking out at the rain soaked island, and closing his eyes, and just listening.

Few things were as calming and soothing.

Her package came in today. And she wasn't talking about the care package from her parents. She had handwavily ordered the Nintendo Wii with several accessories and lots of games. She wasn't exactly sure how to use everything yet, but after an hour or so she finally figured out how to set it up.

She popped a bowl of hot buttery popcorn and stood before the TV. She didn't have one in her room and she didn't want to mess with Cally's stuff and mun has no idea if Cally has a tv or not. So she hoped no one minded that she was monopolizing it for her own personal pleasure.

It was just kind of making her mad though. She was this princess and she stood before the TV moving her remote thingy this way and that and she couldn't quite get herself where she wanted to go and do what she needed to do. "Crap! Go! You stupid girl!" With her other hand, she grabbed a handful of popcorn and shoved it in her mouth. "Go! Left! Left! No. Ugh!" She stomped her foot and just started to randomly click the things on the control thingy. "Waste of daddy's money is what you are!"

Tuesday. Jack had no classes. Even if he had, he wouldn't have gone.

The rules were posted --

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

-- and he had a line of clips laid out in front of him. Aim, empty the clip, eject it, slip in a new one, repeat ad infinitum.

His hands were starting to hurt, so was his shoulder, but he was still smooth and quick, completely lost in the action. Not thinking.

It was even better than drinking for blocking thought, and it came without the attendant stupidity.

[open, of course.]

Parker's trying for that physical exhaustion thing again. It'd have to help her sleep better, right?

The punching bag is suffering for her insomnia.

Hades' time in Fandom had not been entirely wasted. Human minions would come in time. There were no demons in town that were easily pushed around (and really, the ones that weren't easily persuaded weren't worth the time and effort if we could find someone easier to deal with). That left the wildlife. He would start small and work his way up.

That didn't mean he was going to pick a random groundhog from the litter that hung out near his lair. Okay, so he DID pick a random groundhog to start off with, but the groundhog had to prove herself. Hades still had standards. In exchange for stirring up some mischief, the groundhog would receive the finest apple in all the land since the groundhog was fond of apples and this was a very shiny one.

This was why this particular groundhog, known as Sooty to her friends (of which she had none), was doing backflips in the lobby, looking for trouble. She looked like a groundhog ninja, but really she was just wearing a black mask. She wasn't actually a licensed ninja.

The lack of license might have been the reason for Sooty's lack of chances to prove herself. Everything had been quiet all night from her trek from the Preserve to the school lobby. She even tried to pick a fight with a teal deer, but it spat a bee at her and scared her off.

Then Sooty saw her chance. In a very normal lobby there were some very normal fish. Those very normal fish were giving Sooty a very normal look, if one was to compare it with other looks that fish give to groundhogs. Except that all of that was a complete lie. Sooty was offended by the crude gestures she imagined that the abnormal fish were giving her.

The fish, as a result, were flushed down the nearest toilet and did not, as the cute movie with the clownfish and the stoner turtles implied, find their way to the ocean. They found their way to the sewage treatment plant instead.

And died a crunchy death.

It was very sad for them.

Sooty, however, was most pleased with herself. She sure showed them. No one looked at a groundhog ninja like that! Especially them. After all, they were just fish.

Right?

[OOC: Just establishy. Plot? What plot?]

Jim kind of liked the rain. Besides, he was feeling the need to stretch his legs and so was outside for a walk, not caring about the mud that was gradually creeping up the back of his jeans. His hands were jammed in his pockets as he walked, listening to the different sounds that the rain made as it hit the ground, leaves, his jacket, the buildings, trying to sort through them all.

[[Open for puddlejumping and those who like getting caught in the rain.]]
