Finals started tomorrow, so Jack was - surprisingly enough - studying.

He was doing it in a very Jack way, though. He'd claimed the biggest couch in the first floor lobby as his own and was currently sprawled across it, shirtless, sucking on a lollipop while he flipped through a textbook.

Propped up at each end of the couch was a sign which read-- )

"Worried about Finals?

Lick a Seahorse for Luck!

The table next to him held several empty coffee cups, with books and notes piled haphazardly next to them, and sitting underneath it - where it wouldn't be immediately apparent to anyone walking past - was a large box, filled with lollipops that he would happily share.

[ooc: Open to all! Grab the chance to lick a Seahorse!]

Steerpike was making a rare appearance in the common room, today. If asked, he would say that it was because there was more room to spread out his notes on the floor as he studied for finals.

The glossy magazine he was looking at currently was totally part of him studying, yes. And my, but that one singer looked a bit familiar, didn't she. . . ?

[ooc: common room is open, as is the custom]

Henry had the fencing book back out from the library, and was actually trying to put his forms to practical use. He had a vague defensive strategy planned out, and was trying to get comfortable with it. Questions flooded his mind as he worked.
Then again, one of the Jeopardy clouds had gotten him earlier that day. There were a lot of questions in his head...

ooc: The Salle is open, as usual. Henry's up for a training match, if anyone wants to fight a very easy opponent.

Walter had a rodent. Walter was under the impression the rodent was his girlfriend. Walter had a phone and was attempting to convince his employer that he needed a few days extension before leaving, since he wasn't sure when his girlfriend was going to be not-a-rodent again.

Arthur liked the word "girlfriend" coming from Walter. It seemed likely he'd be getting the extension.

[ooc: It's a common room.]

After Hamlet's party, Rikku wandered into the third floor Common Room, fiddling idly with the TV thing and wondering if Hades had been making up those Jeopardy clouds after all.

She quickly got frustrated with the remote, which wasn't working at all, for no discernible reason. "What is wrong with you, anyway?!" she asked it angrily. "And why is nothing ever on? How can you have that many channels and all of them be boring? And where are those stupid Jeopardy clouds?! Was he just teasing?! Why don't I get to play with that fun question thing? Heyyyy ... did it just start??"

[OOC: Open. Question game is in full effect, please come play! And the remote? The batteries are dead, she just doesn't know to check that.]

The tradional finals coffee bar was set up in the Fourth Floor Common room featuring the usual baked goodies from J,GoB as well as all the varieties of caffiene the Perk could supply.

In theory, Isabel was studying. In reality her book was resting face down on her chest as she sprawled across the couch with her eyes closed and sang softly along with her iPod.

[ooc: I'm around but between 9-10 I will be watching Heroes!]
[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com
Peter had an assignment for the paper that he hadn't done anything with so far. He had to talk to seniors about their post-graduation plans. He had one day to get this together. That meant that it was time for ambushing seniors in the hallway and asking them a few simple questions.

This would be fun, he was sure.

[OOC: If any seniors would like to ping in and help me out, that would be awesome. If not, I may be forced to make stuff up. If you've read my recent newspaper articles, you can see what kind of insanity that would be. Jack Harkness: plans to become a cross-dressing exotic dancer. Phoebe Halliwell: is working on her campaign to set up the position of President of Europe and take that title. Don't make me make things up, I beg of you. Four should be enough for me to write an article. If you'd still like to stop by and answer Peter's questions, though, that would still be awesome.]
