The Dorm roof: Thursday morning
Friday, November 23rd, 2007 01:44 amKaral, being from Karse, had no idea what Thanksgiving was.
Or at least he hadn't until last night, when he'd gone looking for an explanation. It was a fascinating holiday, he'd decided, one that filled him with no small amount of hope.
It had also planted the seed of an idea, one that kept growing, and he'd spent several hours trying to capture it in words. Now he was on the roof, standing under the light of the morning sun.
There was no one to see and no one to hear (or so he thought, though he didn't check), but he didn't mind. This was something he needed to do. Walking to the edge, he lifted his chin, robes fluttering in the light breeze, and began to speak.
( Giving thanks. )
[ooc: it's totally open, yes.]
