He didn't want to sit in Andrew's room since Andrew needed the rest and he was... restless. He couldn't go back to his own.

But he had something he had to work on.

It wasn't his homework or his magic study; those would not have resulted in the grim expression on his face. It was a letter, a letter he had to write to someone who held the singular honor of being the only non-stone being that Liir could honestly say he loathed.

It didn't help that they might be related. In fact, that made things considerably worse.

As such, he was curled up in one of the corners, notebook in hand (for a rough draft; he wouldn't send a notebook page back to Oz, after all!), scribbling out opening lines. For the moment, they were venomously polite but he'd had to scratch out a few cuss words that'd slipped out from the nib of his pen as well.

This was going to take a while.

Billy was standing, sans prosthetic, on the edge of the roof, his toes sticking out over the edge.

The letter he'd recieved today from Anastasia had told him that Serpentor had been defeated, and presumed killed by Billy's father. Cobra Commander was MIA, Destro was in charge of Cobra in his absence. And that a few members of the G.I. Joe team had been killed in the battle. None of the names were those of people he considered friends, but he'd recognized them regardless.

He'd immediately called his contact number for Snake-Eyes and asked him to ask the girl code-named Firewall to contact him. He'd met her and her friend Daemon during his brief stay with G.I. Joe earlier. They'd become friendly aquaintences, if not good enough friends to learn her real name. But the news from Scarlett had informed him that Mainframe, one of the dead Joes had been her mentor, and that Serpentor had killed Daemon. He figured maybe a conversation with someone else who'd been drawn into that life, rather than volunteering would help.

For now, he was brooding meditating.

And for some reason craving tacos.

[Open of course. Especially if you have tacos.]
