Not all the beasts were creatures of the land. One was a creature of the water (and a fairly disturbing one at that).

The scylla settled into the pond, through a magic all her own disappearing completely from sight under the water. The only hint to her presence was an odd ripple on the pond's surface.

There was some bad stuff going down outside the dorms and in the town. Lion-o knew it, and he knew that as a member of the Thundercats, he had a duty to help others. "I need to be out there," he said. "I need to be fighting these things. I need..."

"You need to sit down and eat your dinner," said Snarf, handing Lion-o a bowl of stew. "There'll be no fighting until you're a lot bigger, snarf snarf. Now, eat up! I made plenty more."

"You made enough to feed the entire school and then some," mumbled Lion-o as Snarf returned to the stove.
