Liir had made his way up to the roof earlier broom in hand, sandwiches and cookies packed in his bag, glad that he'd get to spend time with Ino today. Things had ended oddly yesterday at the cafe and he'd hoped that with a little distance from matters, they should have been able to discuss what had happened. Why it'd happened.

At this point, however, Liir was pretty damn sure that Ino wasn't coming. And while one part of him was glad he wouldn't be doing any extensive flying today, the rest of him curled up with his arms around his knees in his spot on the roof and decided that it hated everything.

Maybe she had the right of it, he actually thought, body and soul too tired to even be incredulous at himself.

Ino who mun nearly forgot zomg *facepalms* wasn’t in the best of moods, and was planning on ditching Liir later but all the same she’d promised Principal Winchester that she’d show her the garden today, and so was outside.

It was hard, at least, to be entirely brooding when she could kneel down and make sure her flowers were doing well. If nothing else, she had this. And her flowers didn’t care if she smiled or not. She loved them no matter what the expression on her face was, and they knew it through her touch.

She closed her eyes and smiled slightly. Then got up and went to look for daisies. She’d promised Grace a daisy chain, after all.

[For Zoe, please! And honestly, I swear, I’ve got the memory of a sieve some days. Ugh. *fiddles with the time, yeah*]

Ned decided to cook.

After realizing he hadn't cooked anything but a can of soup (take out dinners were so much easier) in the last few weeks, he decided to rectify with a new take on a pie he'd made in the past.

So, there were supplies and ingredients and a guy in a flour stained blue apron moving about the common room.

[Open, yep! He'll share!]

Laura the genet was hungry, and so Gladys took her down to the hall to find her some breakfast. Laura trotted next to her, and bounced into the common room, heading for the fridge.

"Ahoy, If I Get You Breakfast You Have T' Beha'e. Gar."

Gladys stopped.

The genet stopped. And it stared at her, head tilted in confusion.

"Aye. I Have No Idea Why I Be Talkin' Like This. Thar Seems T' Be Somethin' Wrong With Me. Gar."

Laura dashed across the room and hid under the couch, peeking out at Gladys.

"Ar. I Do Not Think That This Be Normal." She paused. "And Ye'll Ne'er Get Me Buried Booty." This was very odd. As was her sudden urge to call herself Cap'n Jan Bloodbucket. "Ar."

[ooc: Arrr, the common room be open, me hearties. eta: Yar, I be going to bed.]
