Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Morning
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 12:46 amHe'd been so tired the last couple of nights that he'd dropped off to sleep with no trouble. But tonight he couldn't relax. He laid in the dark remembering what it had felt like when the shadow had nearly smothered him, filling his nose and mouth and pinning him in place. He remembered how it felt when it took control of his body and he couldn't quite convince himself that the shadows in the corner of his room were harmless.
Since leaving the lights on would involve explaining to his new roommate that he was afraid of the dark (and his 17-year-old ego wasn't quite up to that), Tony instead shuffled out to the common room. He turned on every light he could find, switched the TV on to an old movie channel and kept the volume low but audible. If anyone asked, he could tell them he fell asleep watching TV. With the lights blazing around him and the TV's familiar murmur, he finally managed to drift off.
[Open! He's asleep on the couchWednesday Tuesday morning. Feel free to try and wake him up, mess with him while sleeping or just do common room stuff around him.]
