The Roof, Early Tuesday Morning
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008 08:31 amThe roof was empty but for the wind (and the sky, and birds, and presumably the squirrels as they were everywhere).
Then, a blink of the eye, and the roof wasn’t so empty anymore. Viki took a look around, getting her bearings, and wondered, idly, what day it was. Did it even matter? Was there something she had to do today?
Who knew? Whatever it was, since she wasn’t sure, she was just going to spend a little bit up here and be pleased that she’d wound up in the same place again.
[Open as a roof is.]
