There was always something keeping Cal from getting to bed at a reasonable hour Saturday nights, thus making his Sunday workout not fall into place until later in the afternoon. Last night, it had been writing; sure enough, masquerading around as an Old Timey detective even well after detention yesterday had his creative blood flowing into his typewriter and onto the pages that now laid face down on his desk. He'd get there after he was done here, read them, and find them all to be utter crap.

For now, though, he was familiarizing himself on how to use the weight equipment for working the legs for a change. Upper body, after all, wasn't a problem, but he was thinking he'd need to improve the lower quite a bit if he really did discover he wanted to get into surfing a little deeper with Kevin. As he worked, he mused lightly on the sign he noticed on Amber's door on the way out. 'Everyone who isn't Cal, welcome!', huh? She had to be planning on doing something for him or something.

Cal, clearly, was feeling very naive that afternoon.

It was less than a week to homecoming - which was on her birthday, no less - and Angela was on the lookout for two things; a dress and a date.

Right now, she was starting on the easier of the two, by flicking through the latest issue of Cosmo for fashion ideas while she ate her breakfast. The television was on but she was largely ignoring whatever was showing. Sunday morning TV was usually hardly anything to be worried about missing.

[[ooc: Open. Lazy Sundays ftw.]]

Ned wasn't baking tonight. He had a pie he'd baked earlier but it was half gone and so was he...in the sleep sense. He hadn't meant to fall into a light doze in the common room, all sprawled out on one of the chairs with the half eaten pie on his lap. It'd just happened.

He'd taken the words 'lazy Sunday' to the next level it would seem. The television was on low, not that Ned was paying attention.

[Despite appearances, common room is open. He's a light sleeper so he'll wake up if he hears noise but feel free to try and take the pie or not wake him.]

Dean had all kinds of munchies and was settled in to watch The Amazing Race. He was ready for an entertaining night of doing nothing.

[ooc:open! And Dean would probably even share his munchies. Just not the M&Ms]
