withoutverona: (so whatcha want?)
[personal profile] withoutverona
Romeo tugged safety equipment out of the cabinet and posted fresh targets and the rules sign before Leto was due to show up, and leaned against a wall cleaning and loading his Dagger as he waited. He'd also recovered the antique gun from Paris from the storage locker, in case Leto didn't have his own weapon to use.

It seemed like he was at the shooting range more often than usual of late; he only hoped the practice was good for him.

[OOC: For Leto, but open!]

Joan was starting to flail a little bit over the sheer number of flower orders that they had received. She really hoped her supplier would be able to come through with all of the flowers and not mix up the colors or have the delivery truck break down or anything else.

Either way, she was set up in the lobby with tickets for the dance and the order forms so people could have their last chance to purchase them.

And she still hadn't found a dress, so she was hoping she could rope someone in to going shopping with her later.

Liir was still mulling over everything from the last couple of days, but that didn't mean he was missing his appointment with Dinah. As such, he was there a little early (since he had no classes today) and took the time to practice his stances. He might as well, after all.

[waiting for one, but open to all!]

Today was Penelope's birthday and she hadn't told a soul. She didn't want to be the center of anyone's attention but more than that she didn't want people to feel like they had to celebrate her day.

The day she was born wasn't a happy one. Her parents sought out a plastic surgeon and found out all too quickly that plastic surgery was not an option. The tabloids and newpapers went crazy, which only led to her mother faking a creamation for her. Her piglet of a baby had died. And then Penelope had spent the next sixteen years of her life locked inside her own home. Never getting to play in the park, never getting to play in the snow, never being allowed out her own front door.

Her birthday was not a happy celebration so she did not see the need in telling anyone. It was just another day. A sad day. At least it was for her.

Alone in the rec room, she sat at the piano and began to play what she was feeling.

[Open for whatever rec room needs you might have. ETA: Hurley's thread last please since she leaves with him!]
