After her tutoring session with Professor Atreides, Dinah had gone back to her room to seriously think about things. She was fine for about an hour, and then restlessness had her looking for something to do.

It had been forever since she'd had a chance to practice with boomerangs, and Barbara had let her have one of the simple Bat-a-rangs, without the heat-seeking, tracking functions, or blades, when she left New Gotham. Taking a handful of other boomerangs along, she headed to the roof to practice.

whup whup whup whuppa whup!

[ooc: expecting someone, but open for anyone who wants to throw a boomerang off the roof, or your other brooding/smoking/gardening needs.]

Turtle was thinking that maybe she should have something exciting or interesting to do on a Friday but...well, she kind of didn't. She did, however, need to get away from that stupid, drooling dog for just a little bit, so she took a book and drifted down to the common room. She made some hot cocoa and curled up on the corner of the couch.

However, CNN on was on the background, so she kept getting distracted from reading, especially in watching the little ticker go by at the bottom of the screen.
