Everyone was supposed to be moving back to the dormitories today. On one hand, Eleanor liked the thought of returning to her room, but on the other, she would miss waking to the sound of the forest around her and the campfires.

So, this morning, she was outside at the firepit for her cabin, with a nice fire already going, working on making a sembelance of breakfast for those who wanted it.

Tea, sausages speared on a stick (much like Jack had done with his hotdogs) and toast.

...sadly, that was about all she could manage. Being a Fire Mage did not automatically mean one could cook.

But at least it was guarenteed that none of it would be burnt.

Whether that was her doing or the tiny Salamander's that flicked around through the fire was anyone's guess.

(open like a campfire! said salamander will blend into the fire if anyone approaches, but those with magic or 'special senses' may be able to detect that something is in there. just drop a note in your thread if your pup can, thanks)

Between making Merlin move his stuff back into the dorms and picking up Brynmor from the 'pet shop', Arthur still managed to find himself in the salle at his usual time. He'd invited Zack to show up, after all, and if even half of the usual crowd showed up he'd have plenty of distraction for the morning.

He was even feeling fairly optimistic about living with Leto again for the next few weeks. It might help him get a few-- things out of his system that he didn't particularly want to have to deal with. Or shouldn't, if a certain someone's reaction was anything to go--

He took a practice sword, got into stance, and practiced off a dummy for a good while.

Merlin was starting the very serious task of setting up the new puppy in one of the stalls. It was... meeting with mixed success.

It certainly seemed happy to be able to sniff everything, but kept making sad noises each time he disappeared in order to find more hay to place down for a bed.

"It's alright, Brynmor. I didn't leave."

Yes, he was talking to a dog. But... look at it!

Due to Skrull invasions and cabin living, Tony was now three weeks behind on the best vampire detective show on syndicated TV, Darkest Night. And this Wednesday was the season finale.

So Tony picked up a box of goodies from J, GOB and settled in the second floor common room with pastries, popcorn and a bomb bottle of cola to catch up on the episodes he'd missed. Pastries for eating, popcorn for throwing at the screen. Given that the first episode he was watching featured a zombie invasion, he was going to need a lot of popcorn.

"Come on, are you serious? No zombie's that tough!"

Peyton knew she shouldn't have dragged so many of her records out to the cabin, but she just hadn't been able to decide which ones she wanted. And, of course it was totally ironic that after lugging 5 boxes of them back up the stairs that she should trip on the last stair before the final landing and not only twist her ankle, but also drop almost everything she was carrying down the stairs. Not the records, she'd caught that box, but the one she'd balanced precariously on top of that?

Totally spread out all over the stairs. All her hair and personal products and just... everything. Lovely.

So, for the moment, Peyton was sitting on the landing and contemplating the mess she'd made of her belongings and her ankle. Fun times.

[Totally open should anyone want to help or make fun or whatever.]

Maybe Effy had just got used to being out in the cabins, but sitting around in her new dorm room after she got her workshop out the way felt somehow really cramped. Something which prompted the grabbing of a few things, and exploration for somewhere better to be.

That somewhere, wouldn't you know it, ended up being on the roof.

It was quiet, it had some nice views, and while it might not have been outright sunny it was definitely humid and she stretched out on a deckchair, half soaking up a little warmth and half reading a book she'd stolen from Tony before she left home.

Little did Ichigo know that he wouldn't be the only one hauling around luggage up the stairs that day. He hadn't really been paying much attention to dates since he'd been in Japan (not that he would have paid attention if he hadn't been there). So up the stairs he went, only to the 2nd floor but it felt higher when your head was pounding. Headaches apparently didn't so much like travelling through portals. He supposed he should just be grateful he managed to get the last-minute spot that opened up there.

He wasn't very good at feeling grateful right now.
