This was not the bushes behind Castle Pup, where she'd gone to sleep. Last she remembered, the one called Mooner had left a plate of food out for her like he had done for the past month. There had been some kind of construction project going on. It had started shortly after she had made it abundantly clear that she would not be going into the building. Perhaps they had been building her a shack or something.

Florida didn't know where she was, or what was going on. But she was hungry. She had sneaked around the hallway until she found this room that looked like it might contain food. Those cupboards for instance.

The plan was to grab something to eat and run.

Clambering up onto the counter, she began to rummage through the top cabinets.

It was too nice a day to spend it inside, Bod decided. His one class had been easy so he'd gone into town after and picked up some pastries from the bakery. He hadn't ever had a sweet tooth before but he seemed to be gaining one now.

Miss Lupescu wouldn't be too pleased.

With that done, Bod hadn't even gone up to his room. He'd detoured onto the deck, dropped his backpack and settled into a chair to stretch out and let the sun warm his face. He could feel autumn in the air, smell it on the wind and he was anticipating it.

Summer wasn't the best season for an Englishmen especially an American summer that consisted of a huge sun and blistering temperatures. Bod would just take advantage of this nice day by lounging on the deck and eating sweets.

[Deck's open. It's really that gorgeous outside.]

It was Ben's fault.

That was Jonothon's story, and he was going to stick to it like glue.

He'd pulled out his guitar, and his amplifier, and he'd staked out a spot on the couch, which he'd turned just enough so that he could watch the door. The television wasn't on, but you had better believe that his amplifier was, and he had a small arsenal of songs memorized for the task at hand.

If anybody was going to try to make use of the common room on the fourth floor today, they were going to have to do it at the risk of being greeted by their very own theme music today, courtesy of Jonothon Starsmore and his electric guitar.

Totally Ben's fault.
