The last few times Percy had been in the salle, he'd been there to spar. He'd lost once and won once so he knew he could use more practice. He wanted that one loss to turn into a win even if he had to go through Luke to do it.

Going through Luke wouldn't be easy and he knew it. Luke wouldn't let him win easily and Percy didn't want him to do that. He wanted to earn the win but he wanted to know he could face down Luke, any version of Luke, and win.

Percy had Riptide out and was slashing aggressively at one of the dummies. He wasn't just concentrating on sword work though. He was peppering brawling techniques into his work out. Punches, kicks, knees and the hilt of the sword all got incorporated to try and make him a more rounded fighter.

He was going to end up tired and sweaty after this workout but it'd be worth it.
