Angelica was feeling a lot less skittish than she had a week ago upon arriving in Fandom. Everyone had been so nice, and she didn't have to deal with Empath and Roulette trying to embarrass her in class (even if said classes were very weird). She knew she had to be careful about her powers and making sure she didn't hurt anyone, but making friends wasn't bad, was it? Ms. Frost might beg to differ.

After her class that morning, she decided to investigate the common room and the television it contained -- she'd never seen one so fancy before and with so many channels to choose from. There was some show about models she'd never heard of on one of the channels. She wasn't sure exactly what was going on, but she decided she had to root for the redhead to win.

[Open! Yes, her cycle is on Oxygen right now, so I couldn't resist.]

Marshall had a sheaf of printouts with him, a collection of pages on proper exercise and stretching that he'd printed out from a link sent to him by Corrine after he'd emailed her to ask her to ask Vaughn to check his email, since he hadn't gotten a response from Vaughn and figured that he probably just wasn't, y'know, as obsessive about checking it as Lucas Corrine some people he knew.

So, y'know, stretching. Between Outdoor Fitness on Mondays and Zombies on Wednesday -- and the homework for Zombies, ugh -- Marshall figured he might as well do things right, so he was trying to follow along with the print-outs as he stretched in preparation for a run. 'Trying' should be stressed; it's not like he had all that much experience, after all.

Please, someone come and help him. Or point and laugh; that works, too.

[Open deck is open! Tautological sentence is tautological!]

Toby had a stack of pizza boxes with him as he flopped down on the common room couch and flipped through the channels until he found one playing a marathon of the Death in a Fence movies.

One might ask how exactly a kid with no money to his name managed to afford enough pizza to feed several people other than himself. The answer? A few rounds of pool with the old guess-your-weight trick for good measure.

In any case, once again there was pizza and a Toby and a common room, and this time he'd be far more inclined to share.
