necroslacker: (what i'd say)
[personal profile] necroslacker
Sam wasn't really a fan of being up this early. He couldn't say what'd woken him up either. It hadn't been a nightmare because he remembered those vividly and it hadn't been a visit from Brooke or Ashley either. He'd just...woken up and hadn't been able to get back to sleep.

So, he'd ended up in the common room. He'd thought about cooking something but that way lay disaster and pain so he'd made himself a gourmet bowl of cereal (Captain Crunch to be specific) and flopped down on the couch. When he found Saturday morning cartoons on some channel, he felt like he was five again instead of pushing nineteen. Man, Ramon could never find out about this or he'd never live it down.

Cartoons were more entertaining than news shows and infomercials so Sam settled in to wake himself up (just because he was awake didn't mean he was awake) and hopefully get himself together enough to run some errands later.

Or maybe he'd just eat more cereal.

Bruce had no interest in dealing with the television today. It was going to just show something that some people would think he'd find embarrassing, he wouldn't be embarrassed (or even annoyed), and that would be it. But there was enough embarrassment and annoyance going around the dorms today, it seemed, so Bruce was going to try to tackle that in some small way: with cake.

Sure, he didn't usually eat much junk food, but he figured that a day when someone changed genders might not be so bad if it was changed to the day when someone changed genders and also had cake. In the meantime, he was just going to read a book about chess strategies while having a piece of cake himself.

[OOC: Open CR, open cake. Whatever that means, I don't know.]
life_inshadow: ([boy] chilling)

After two years-and-counting in Fandom, all Tara had done when she woke up a boy was sigh wearily and hope it was her last time for the ritual humiliation. She didn't like dealing with boy bits, even if it was just for a weekend. But beyond that and a scrabble for clothes, it was a normal day.

Which meant that after dinner, she was about ready to be vaguely social. She printed out a recipe and started working on a batch of banana nut muffins. Baking was a comfort, even if you were stuck in the wrong body.

[OOC: Open common room.]
