4th Floor Common Room, Thursday afternoon

Seeing as it was kind of dreary outside (though not in a bad way, more in that comforting having-an-excuse-to-stay-inside-with-cocoa way), Rapunzel was, well, inside! And she was passing the time by making soup and reading a cookbook. It had just been lying around, and the pictures were just so enticing! There were all sorts of things she wanted to try now.

The urge to experiment was almost strong enough to get her to just start throwing things into the current pot, which was already beginning to fill the common room with the heavy scent of tomatoes and dill, but she knew better (it was one of those lessons that had ended up in almost completely inedible cake). So she just read the book, getting up every so often to stir the soup, and (metaphorically) sat on her hands to keep them from doing something that everyone might regret.

Besides! The soup she already had going did smell delicious, so it was better not to take any risks... At least for now.
