Right, so. Weird-ass portal thingy, Fandom island, island full of more small children than usual... Ellie had a good idea what was going on here. She'd go find her parents- eventually. First things first, she'd arranged for waffle delivery from J,GoB (yeah, they did waffles. on days where the baker who considered them a breakfast pastry was on shift, anyway) and set up in the common room.

There were waffles, toppings, syrup... everything for a nice, sugar-laden Saturday morning breakfast.

[ooc: Yes, despite the journal doing the posting, actual resident of the CR is [livejournal.com profile] kleptopathic. Yes, Toby and Kenzi's kid looks like girl!Toby. If they had a boy he'd probably look like boy!Kenzi 'cause that's how we roll. It also makes things like posting parent-less CRs easier since I have the icon already. Also, totally open!]

Sam had a towel spread out across the grass in a sunny spot on the lawn. She had a bowl full of meatballs and a whole slew of disgusting new videos to watch online.

Life was good.

[ooc: expecting one, also open, yadda yadda.]

Nights after dances, Chuck was getting way too used to not ending up in his own bed. He liked his roommate, but there were certain things he did not need to risk going into his room to witness.

He had learned from all that, just how uncomfortable the couches in this dorm were when you were as tall as he was. Really, really uncomfortable. After a few moves between couches during the night, he'd finally ended up on this one. Which still had him bent at an odd angle, but was somehow slightly better than the previous ones.

Mostly in that it actually allowed him to get some rest.

It was possibly the worst choice of couches to sleep on as far as placement went, but somehow he'd ended up there all the same.

[[ expecting a weetiny, and open becauuuse he is sleeping in the lobby like a dumbass. ]]

Alex was not, by nature, an emo kid, but sometimes he got a little...Phobos-y. When that happened he had two options. One, kill things on Xbox until he felt better, was kind of out because of all the strange kids running around the dorms.

So he was up on the roof. Brooding. As one does.

He had the vague sense that his mood was because of something that was about to happen, but sometimes his precognition wasn't helpfully specific. It was annoying.

((For the worst thing that's ever happened to Alex, but open like a roof!))

One day, you're a queen. The next, you're a (ragingly hot) high school senior flippng through cable channels Saturday night 'cause you're too cheap to go out.

Quinn had noticed a couple people seemed to have visitors, but she was keeping her fingers crossed the weirdness had skipped her this year. At the least, any kids she had this time around had managed not to wake her up that morning -- for which she was most grateful.

She'd ordered a couple pizzas, just in case anyone needed an easy way to feed their spawn, and picked at a slice with pepperoni as she paused the TV on a Teen Mom marathon.

It seemed a little on-the-nose for tonight.

[OOC: Open common room!]
