The Salle, Wednesday Afternoon

Some of the effects of the weekend had been settled, yesterday, but Natalie was still feeling a little antsy. After class, she'd come back to her room and finally put away everything that betrayed there had been kids around: the books Lilith had read, the papers Ada had drawn on, the extra pillows in the bed. But that hadn't been enough to make her feel settled, so she'd gone walkabout in the dorms. She'd been there for a good while, now, but there were places she'd never been.

Like the salle. Though she'd never been to one before, it was easy enough to figure out what it was for. Drawn in by the newness though at first she'd almost turned away at the door, she walked in and took a moment to circle the practice dummies with some mild curiosity.

Really, some people actually used a place like this to train, without looking to be some kind of a... super ninja master, or something? Guess everyone couldn't be an adequate fighter without ever doing anything.
