The Salle, Wednesday Afternoon

There were only so many places on campus that Surreal could be found, and the salle was generally the most obvious.

Today she was a whirl of motion as she attacked the three moving remotes that she had found, hand-to-machine, refraining from using her blades or her Green so that it wouldn't be over too soon. It was possible she was even laughing with the fun she was having.

It had been too long since she'd done anything to really challenge herself, and for once, Surreal was feeling comfortable in her own skin.

The Roof, Wednesday Afternoon

It wasn't a bad day. Not really. The weather didn't completely suck, Sparkle didn't have work or classes or anything. Hell, his detention for camel-stealing wasn't even until the end of the week. Nope, it wasn't a bad day at all, really.

It it was still a Wednesday. One of those 'halfway over' Wednesdays that had Sparkle making faces at the prospect of slogging through the rest of the week. And, to top all of that off, he was bored. Nightfall wasn't even for a few hours yet, so he couldn't amuse himself by running around the island, trying to break into places he wasn't supposed to be.

If he was going to pass all of that time between then and now just sitting around, he was going to take advantage of the above-freezing weather in order to sit up on the roof and have a smoke, then. Because why spend a boring Wednesday afternoon doing something productive? Hah.

Sorority Meeting [6th floor common room]

Rilla was in the meeting room on time, healthy snacks prepared and a pile of knitting in her lap as she waited for the rest of the sisters to arrive.

"I knit to make sure my brothers and friends up at the front in France have dry socks," she began, "but there are so many faster ways to raise money for various causes. Stacey and I were thinking...fashion show and inviting other students--maybe even faculty members and people from town--to join in. The funds we raise at the door could go to the Red Cross. What does everyone think?"
