Honestly, Gert wasn't really a campfire kind of girl. But Old Lace liked the heat, and Gert liked marshmallows, so that was where they were hanging out tonight.

Since it wasn't too dark yet, Gert had thought that in theory, she could bring a book to read by the campfire before the sun went down, but that turned out to be impractical since it led to her getting distracted and her marshmallows catching fire. And in the war between snacks and a Shakespeare play that she just couldn't get into, snacks won. Snacks always won.
