3rd floor common room, Thursday morning

tigerundercoverSometime about mid-morning, a vent in the third floor common room was nosed open from behind by a large, blue snake with bright golden eyes.
Raven slithered out, pausing to make sure the room was empty before making her way into the kitchen. Once there, she morphed back into her natural form and started grabbing food.
Soup cans. Bags of chips. Boxes of sugary cereal. She held a carrot -- complete with greenery still attached -- in her mouth as she debated grabbing an entire bag of potatoes. No way to cook them in the vents, she decided, and too awkward to drag around. She threw everything she could into a couple of plastic grocery bags covered in dust and lint.
She had to move quickly. There was no telling when someone would get back and discover her there, stealing food.
