Third Floor Common Room, Thursday Morning

Amy wandered into the common room pretty early on Thursday, partially to make herself a cup of coffee before work and partially so she wouldn't disturb Raven with the quick phone call she had with Karma.

While she waited for the coffee to brew, she started to realize something was up. Normally, Amy didn't freely tell Karma how much she didn't miss being in Austin because it was so stressful being around everyone when she was dealing with so much stress, and how nice it was to get some space from everyone, including Karma herself. And she definitely didn't usually end her phone calls with "Love you, unfortunately."

She hung up quickly after that and then announced very loudly, "Okay, someone needs to take my phone right now. Seriously. I'm offering fifty bucks to the first person who volunteers to babysit this iPhone today."

The Salle, Thursday After Classes

A trip to the causeway this morning had not accomplished anything for Cassandra. This had left her irritated. As did the candidness of everyone she had stood as much as near today, even if they were generally not speaking to her.

So she went where she always did if she wanted to feel better: the salle. She had discarded her local clothing in her room and put the armor back on. Then she had picked up her sword at the locker - she was beginning to reconsider letting them take it from her, but at the moment she would continue complying.

In as much as what she was doing to one of these poor dummies right now could be considered complying. Slash-block-kick-slash-arm-breast-head and all with the ferocity of someone who was actually attempting to dismantle the dummy. Yes. She was most definitely calming now.

Why Travis was venturing out when he was vomiting words over everyone and everything, he didn't know. Maybe talking to someone would make him feel less like some loner slacker than if he spent time in his room, talking to his phone or possibly slipping and trying to talk to Cate. That just did not need to happen.

So, the late afternoon hours found him in the common room, silently flipping through television. Well, he was silent until his phone dinged and a message from Kyle flashed at him.

going on a date. with a guy. advice?

"Yeah, don't get too attached because he's definitely going to find someone else and dump you if you turn your back for a day or die for five years."

Travis closed his mouth and looked a little sick at having let that slip. He was just going to wait on texting Kyle back.

3rd Floor Common Room, Thursday Night

Johnny didn't see what the big deal was with today. Oooh, people told the truth. So what? He liked telling the truth! He did it all the time! He was awesome. Reed was a douche. Gwen was cool. Alana was hot. He didn't have many male friends because he never truly felt deep down that he really belonged after spending his entire youth out of place. He had no idea how to commit to anything but superheroing. This pizza was delicious and there was plenty for everyone. This Kate Hudson movie was wonderful, she was such a good actress.

Kate Hudson was where he drew the line. "I really want this channel to change so I can save face if anyone comes in. I DON'T KNOW WHY THE CHANNEL WON'T CHANGE! I'd totally bang Kate Hudson."

Okay, maybe THAT was how he could save face if anyone came in.
