It was safe to say that a dwarf that was presented with a building challenge was a motivated dwarf. That would be why Thorin was halfway through building the so called 'yurt' with only a few, ah, embellishments.

Look, he needed to make it more defensible, okay?

And maybe there were a few decorative touches added to the walls.

Just be glad he didnt feel the need to add a wall around it. Yet.

"I thought there would be tents," Edward said.

Well. There were tents. Just not assembled tents. And while Edward was proud of the letters he now had, the manual he had been given was... a little arcane. He could grasp the pictures on the other tome he'd been given just fine, and now he was putting considerable thought to the idea of building his futon and then simply draping a piece of tent fabric over it.

"Right," he added. "I suppose this is a thing I'll be doing. Then."

"Jaysus."
