So over the past two weeks on the island, Rebecca hadn't really done very much. Did some work for her classes, rearranged the furniture in her room and taken over part of Matt's closet... normal fun stuff. But she'd come to the conclusion that it was time to start networking with people. Forming alliances, as it were.

Or making friends, as normal, non-Rebecca Logan people might put it. Really, she was in it for the allies and networks.

So after placing a few quick calls, she managed to get some fairly fancy Italian food delivered to the third floor common room. There was more than enough to share with... probably half the student body. That should be a step in the right direction, she decided.

Plus, her top showed a lot of cleavage. So.

Stacey had learned something over the last couple days: most kids ate really unhealthy things. She'd known that before (she had babysat for a living, after all) but it was a lot more obvious to her now that she was in a boarding school setting.

So today she'd gone out shopping and bought some really healthy stuff to stock up the fridge and cabinets, since otherwise it was hard for her to eat. Besides, it couldn't hurt anyone to maybe try something that was good for them, and then maybe it wouldn't look strange if she was the only one in a setting eating a salad. With the TV on for background noise, she unpacked the grocery bags and put the food away.

See, Fandom, Stacey was being helpful.

Anna wandered into the second floor common room on Monday afternoon in search of something to do with herself. She picked up the remote control, not really knowing what it was or what it did, and wound up turning on the TV, which gave her a bit of a start at first. She hadn't realized that flat black thing was a television. They had been substantially different when she was alive, and her family had never had one, anyway. And it was in color and the picture was so crisp and bright!

She was quickly able to figure out the remote now that she knew what it was for, and she flipped through the channels--"Good grief, how many are there?"--until she found "HOCKEY!" Her squeal of delight was possibly the happiest she'd sounded since, well. Since she was alive. And they were playing outside! How fun! "Who's playing?" she muttered to herself, squinting at the screen. "The Rangers and...who are the Flyers? Philadelphia? Well...I guess that makes sense..." The NHL couldn't possibly have stayed exactly the same for the last fifty-three years. She would have to find out more.

You could take the ghost out of Canada, but not Canada out of the ghost, it seemed.

Using magic on the remaining bruises from the complete moron Phobos was the goal for the day. Ikol's advice on the matter had only been mildly helpful (mostly confusing) and so he was left to his own devices on it.

This would be so much more simple had his elder-self thought to keep his knowledge of magic perfectly intact. Ugh.

For now, he sat on the roof in just his normal clothing from Asgard, hood down as he focused. People here didn't seem to realize this was a remarkably mild winter. Barely even worthy of the name 'winter' at that.
