Campus Life

Rules for interacting with Professor Jerusalem outside of class.

I don't want to live here. I hate it here. If you want to co-exist in peace, please remember the following.

1. My security system is custom issue and designed to maim or kill. I do not invite students into my quarters for any reason, so no exceptions will be made save for my eventual Teaching Assistant. There is a large sign stating thus just outside my door in eight languages and my lawyers assure me that this absolves me from any legal action if you are, in fact, killed or maimed when attempting entry.

2. If your key accidentally takes you inside my quarters when you were aiming for, say, Chemistry Class, please make your way immediately to the nearest exit and let yourself out. Touch anything and I will not only know, I will hunt you down and feed you to the bouncer... thing outside the teacher's lounge. Alive.

3. I don't appreciate disruptions when I'm working, sleeping, eating, relaxing, having sex, researching or breathing. If it is an emergency or you have money, drugs or porn, my reaction is liable to be somewhat toned down.

4. Clothing inside my quarters is optional. If I answer the door in the altogether, you have no one to blame but yourself.

5. Yes, the tattoos are real. No, you may not touch them. Any of them. Ever.

6. If there are complaints about your behavior on-campus I am the de facto bad cop and, believe me, I'm more than capable of living up to the title.

7. Do not attempt to intimidate or threaten me. I have broken world leaders. I have been beaten, tortured, forcibly tattooed, humiliated, sliced up and shot and none of this has so much as slowed me down. I don't care if you can make fire come out of your ass or if your daddy is the richest man on your planet. Trying to pull shit and then trying to bully or extort your way out of the consequences will result in a quick trip through locker 327 at the very least.

8. Bribery is always okay.

9. I have a special, burning hatred for bullies.

10. Yes, I am available for outside class consultation and other instructor-like duties. By appointment only. Do not just casually drop by my quarters unless you are prepared for the possible consequences.

2nd Floor Rooms

I'm taking that largish-room on the southwest corner of the second floor. Any complaints can confer with my fist. #229, for those of you who can't read.

Sound good, [livejournal.com profile] make_it_ashes?

I live on the first floor, the corner room #142. I remain fully armed at all times and my cat is not people-friendly.

This is your only warning.

Hey [livejournal.com profile] phases_of_kitty and [livejournal.com profile] future_visions, where do you want to room? I'm pretty much good anywhere except for next door to that dirty traitor Pyro. Just tell me where to move my stuff!

Hey, do we get fed around here, or do we have to fend for ourselves?

I'm taking a corner single on the third floor, room #302. I've already moved my things in, but does anyone else need any help?

[livejournal.com profile] bridge_carson and I are taking dorm #227. It's just down the hall from [livejournal.com profile] alchemic_bean and [livejournal.com profile] make_it_ashes.

A warning to all. We both have dogs (of one variation or another) Den is an EXCELLENT guard dog. Don't even THINK about stealing my tools.

Hey, [livejournal.com profile] pyramid_is_life! Third floor seems to be filling up pretty fast, but I snagged us a nice big corner room on the second floor. #215 (And there's a handy tree right outside. Isn't that nice?)

Room?

[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]? Want to see if we can get onto the third floor? Seems like a good place to be.
[identity profile] anextimeagent.livejournal.com
It looks like 3rd floor is where the action is, but I dunno if there are any rooms available. [livejournal.com profile] bluemanoncampus says there are rooms around him. How about #308?

Room #405

[livejournal.com profile] m_samuelle and I are moving into room 405. Anyone interested in hand-to-hand combat, bitching about authority figures, and, well, brooding, is welcome to stop on by.

Otto, we're in the far left corner, rooms 107 and 109-- the latter's for your darkroom. It's pretty quiet over here, which I thought you'd appreciate.

Hey, it looks like #305 is empty - is that okay with you, [livejournal.com profile] theboobs_summer? And is it okay with you, [livejournal.com profile] ironist_cohen, since I guess you're joining us as well?
[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com
All mine, nobody's but mine, fair warning, *mine*. I got the double suite because it was the only way Daddy could guarantee I'd stay here longer than the weekend.

However? I am not averse to... social gatherings, in the less-used half of my suite.

(Which doesn't mean I rent it out by the hour to certain people, Harkness. Pfftt.)

Right now I'm using 236 as my dance studio, but a couple futons, an extra TV, and it'll be a good place to crash. Or hide from roommates.

I still can't believe he's making me stay on campus...

Do we have a master list of the dorm rooms?

Really what I want to know, is 318 taken? But a master list would be great.

Fred? Do we want a room on the 3rd floor, or would you prefer some place different?

What room do you want to take? It seems like a lot of people are going on the 3rd floor. I'm open for anything.

[livejournal.com profile] pure_blooddraco and I are moving into 329, on the southern wing of the third floor. Please be advised that between four and seven of the clock tomorrow afternoon my servingmen will be transporting my personal effects, and there may be some considerable turbulence in the hallway. Please do not speak to them, for they are of simple mind and easily confused, not being wise unto your ways and customs.

Yours,

Balian

What room do you want? It looks like there are still a couple here on the third floor ... would 306 work for you?
[identity profile] julian-lawless.livejournal.com
Since no one seems to be trying for the second floor (and I can't think why, the windows are at precisely the right height for sneaking out and down for midnight missions), I am claiming a corner room, 209. While any who seek a roommate may of course offer themselves, I must note that my weaponry will not be tampered with, and the large Rambaldi poster on the wall must not be moved under any circumstances.

Other than that, I keep a bottle of Petreuse available at all times. Non-alcoholic, of course. *slight smile*

Room #666

I'll be taking this room, since no one has seemed to claim it yet. Still no roomies, but meh! As I said before, as long as you don't call me a palm tree, touch my hair, touch my red stones, or interfere in my plans, then I guess you're okay. ;P

I've searched out the rooms, and I found a really good one, right next to the eleavator on the fifth floor. How does #503 sound?

I will be in #402. I like visitors when I'm at home. I think my closet has a Dutch Balstrop in it, though, so if you are going to steal any of my things as a joke please be careful not to bend any of the coat hangers.

[livejournal.com profile] rosefern_todd and I have already moved into #315.

We love the fact that it's a corner room (I do admit to a bit of a hankering for planetside sunlight after three months on that fei-oo freighter). We've got quite a move-on with the decorating as well. (Umm....any visitors taller than 6ft may have to duck to avoid the parasol I have hanging below the light)

It's looking very pretty, if I do say so myself - my shawl collection is now evenly distributed , and [livejournal.com profile] rosefern_todd has put up her posters - we have tape should anyone need too. You'll tell our place from outside by the shiny garlands of fairy-lights in the windows.

*collapses on bed with a cup of chai*

Room #501

Tuesday, September 6th, 2005 10:49 pm
[identity profile] deadlikegeorge.livejournal.com
Dibs for now, subject to change. I'm trying to drag Gord up to check out the living space, but he's rather excitable right now. Sort of like a puppy. On crystal meth.

The room seems a lot... bigger than it has any business being. But after the week I've had, nothing really surprises me anymore.

501 has a huge bank of windows, its own full bath, and a kitchenette. There's a bare, dirty spot where I assume a mini fridge used to be. Maybe Gord'll wanna go half on one.

When I have money. Which involves a day job.

*sigh*

ETA: Done. Room #501 is now Casa Brody-Lass.
