Ranma was returning from a trip off the island. He's got a few bags slung over one shoulder and in his hands he carries his new pet. A beagle puppy. He carries him facing outward to show him the dorm that they're slowly approaching. In the bag are treats, one squeak toy, two bowls, and a large bag of puppy food. He talks quietly in Japanese to the dog in his arms, //This is where we live pup..//

He can't just keep calling him pup. He needs a name. He's not good with things like this. He sits down outside the dorm next to the doorway. Why did he come here, to Fandom? It wasn't all just to hide was it? He was supposed to start liking some things he hates. "I'll call you Mizu then." Water. It's not such a bad name. Plus, he couldn't bring himself to call it Kitty. Or John.

((ooc: Open to meet the puppy))

Joxer had a practice sword in hand, and was battering the punching bag quite mercilessly.

"You like that Jett? How about that! And that!"

Yes, he was taunting the bag as if it were his mean older brother.

[ooc: Open for your gymly needs. Joxer is here for Peter Pevensie, and I'm on slowplay due to happy fun work time.]

Jack stashed a mysterious bag in the freezer - with 'Jack's - Don't Touch' scrawled across it - and then flopped down on the couch, grabbing the remote control.

Randomly flipping through channels, his attention was caught by sinister music and he watched in fascination as an improbable looking shark terrorized a beach side town.

He'd tuned into a shark movie marathon. Currently playing: Mandibles. Next up: Mandibles II and III, followed by Bottomless Cerulean Ocean and Shark Battle 3: Man, That's a Big Shark!.

Halfway through Mandibles, Jack was cheering for the shark.

[open, of course!]

Peter had his St. George's cross flag close by as he waited impatiently for the match to begin.  England vs. Ecuador with continued participation in the World Cup at stake.

He had run down to J, GOB ostensibly to get some pastries to share for breakfast but really because he couldn't sit still any longer so there was a selection of muffins and doughnuts on one of the tables.

Now for the football to start...

[OOC:  Open to all!  Come cheer for England!  Or Ecuador if you must]

Dean had spent yesterday pretty much just lazing about doing nothing, but inspired both by talking with Sammy about cooking and teaching Alec some simple junkfood recipes (although he suspected the real lesson that had been imparted was if you want something to eat, go bug Dean), he was up relatively early this Sunday morning ensconced in the common room kitchen, making up breakfast. Nothing fancy, just bacon, eggs and toast, but the smells were making his mouth water.

He deliberately cooked far more than he could eat himself both because he was used to cooking for more than just one person and because one thing he'd learned about this place was if you cook it, they will come. Dean dished himself up a plate, covered the rest to keep it warm and settled down to eat in front of the tv.

Idly he wondered if Sammy's radar for his cooking would work from one floor below.

[OOC: free brekkie, come and get it]

After some very (much to her chagrin) light training in the gym, Sakurazaki grabs a shower and then gets to work. This was not an easy task set out before her, but she is determined to make it work. Extracting the handwavey supplies from the fridge, which she'd left there earlier, she starts to spread out all the materials, flipping open a notebook with lots of Japanese scribbles and random doodles on the counter. She pulls out all sorts of pots and pans and knives and spoons, and, refering to the notebook often, starts mixing and slicing and adding together all the ingredients she's collected. Perhaps the light training was a good idea, because this cooking thing was taking all her concentration pretty thouroughly. This was hard! But she was determined.

[[open for common room needs so long as you don't mind a very hard working Sakurazaki clanking around the kitchenette. I'll be on SP for most of the day, though, just a warning.]]

Veronica and Nadia got out to the campsite just before sunset to get everything ready for their night of hanging out and telling scary stories.

There were all the fixings for s'mores along with other snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic).

They also pulled seats over from some of the cabins campfires so there'd be places for everyone to sit.

Now they just had to wait for other people to show up.

[wait for ocd, please Open to all! See here if you have questions!]

[ETA: I turned off notifications, so ping me either OOC or in the thread I set up for V if you want to talk to her ;)]
