Grabbing her float, towel, and essential pool needs glittery bikini zomg, Annette headed to the pool to be nothing else but absolutely lazy today.

'Course if she had someone to play with in the water, well, that would be nice too.

Qui-Gon had recently discovered television and while it seemed primitive in some ways compared to the holos that were the closest equivalent, he was finding the range and content of the programming rather fascinating.

He was particularly enamoured with those programs showing disputes being arbitrated. The cases seemed to be mostly about petty little things and not the life or death issues the Jedi were often called upon to help settle, but it was interesting to watch the different ways the judges sorted out the truth of the situation.

And besides, Judge Judy looked a lot like one of the Jedi Council members, which added a whole other level of amusement to Qui-Gon's viewing.

Flipping through the channels today however was not yielding the programs in their usual places and he settled instead on some kind of large musical concert that seemed to be commemorating the planet.

So there was this sharp, shiny new present from Parker in the weapons locker, and there was an Anders, eager to learn how to use it.

He was still a little surprised that Bel had been so quick to agree to teach him swordwork, but he certainly wasn't going to complain about it -- kind of nice to not have to worry about accidentally skewering your indestructible partner, really. And so, here he was down in the salle, trying to get the feel of the sword after getting his warmups in.

All he needed, as he tried to figure out if shirtlessness might be a dangerous distraction, was the boyfriend, now.

He had been back in town for a couple days and watched his girlfriend leave. This meant one thing: Saturday night vegging in front of the TV with enough popcorn for anyone who might stop by.

Tonight he was watching the Discovery Channel, the big nerd.

[OOC: Open, of course.]
