Karal was braving the computer labs, and he wasn't alone. He'd made Altra come, too.

:I don't know what you're so worried about,: the Firecat said as Karal warily pressed the button to turn the machine on.

"I am not worried. I am cautious." And he was rapidly coming to the conclusion that he didn't really like computers. "Something I thought you would approve of."

Altra put his front paws on the desk and stared at the screen. :There's such a thing as being too cautious.:

Karal made a face at the 'cat. "If you were more cautious, you would not have your nose bitten by kittens." Altra glared at him and grumbled something Karal pretended not to hear. "Now hush, I need to concentrate."

He was only there in the hopes of finding an indication that Molly had received his letter. He hadn't expected to find one sent in return. Grinning from ear to ear, he worked out how to send it to paper, and then settled back in the chair, absently scratching Altra's ears while he read.

Chad lived his entire life with a soundtrack running through his head, so he was pretty oblivious to the phenominon playing through everyone's rooms today. For him, it was natural to wake up and immediately start hearing Styx or Gackt or mariachi music (which is what he got this morning). So he didn't think anything about it.

He did think that he needed some coffee and breakfast, and so he was the common room, doing just that, brewing up some of the life giving fuel and getting out supplies for Spanish omelettes. Of course he'll want to share if anyone else showed up. He might almost insist on it, as he cracked his eggs in time with the music he thought was just in his head as always.

"Ain't no song unheard,
No wise man's gonna bring me down...
"

Henry had Daisuke the practice sword out, and was back to woking on defensive forms. He'd realized, however, that there was only so much one could do without actual attacks against which to defend.

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality
Open your eyes, Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go, Little high, little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me

He'd also realized that he was not a Queen fan.

OOC: His mun, however, doesn't understand how anyone could hate Bohemian Rhapsody. The Salle is open, feel free to headbang when the guitar part picks up.

Father of mine,
Tell me where have you been?
You know I just closed my eyes,
And the whole world disappeared...

Billy had set the range up for moving targets and was alternating between his 9mm, and his throwing stars. There was a red picture of a cobra head on each target.

ooc: post is open.

If the volume on the TV was high it was because Dick was trying to drown out the noise of Blink 182's "What's My Age Again?" that was playing in the room. Luckily he found a mindless Bruce Willis action film (did it really matter which one?) so the music was hardly noticeable unless you were listening carefully.

With class done with for the day, Lucas settled on the couch in the third floor common room with pizza. Yes, pizza for breakfast. And he wasn't stupid, either. There was plenty to go around in case the smell attracted other like-minded student types.

Ooh and hey, Rescued by the Alarm was on.

There was music everywhere. The song currently following her was vaguely disturbing, but at least it was danceable, so River had made her way to the roof, and now spun around the the music. For once it wasn't just in her head.

Dean had left his room, wondering if a change of venue would silence the music, which not so much.

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too high

Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

He flopped down on the sofa and grabbed the tv remote, wondering if he could find something to drown it out. It was a good song and all, but there was only so many times through he could listen to it.
