Having "mastered" the remote control, Ron went forth into the common room and became even more daring by figuring out how the vending machines worked.

Plopping down in front of the television with his newfound love (pop tarts) Ron successfully managed to get the TV on by mashing a bunch of buttons and then somehow ending up watch "Wendy the Werewolf Stalker".

This muggle stuff? Piece o' cake.

[open of course]

Peter hauled out the table and clipboards from where they'd been stored since Prom tickets were on sale and set up a careful display that was supposed to evoke memories of Fandom past.  Really it was just a few yearbooks and lots of pictures around a tray of doughnuts and pots of coffee and tea.  Oh yes, and glitter.  Because it wasn't a Fandom event without glitter.

He then set out clipboards with sign up sheets for booths at the carnival and the voting box for Homecoming Court.

Finally he sat down behind the table with a cup of tea and waited to sell tickets to the student body.  Yes.  As a whole.

[OOC:  Oh yes, there will be OCD coming.  Each student can nominate two boys and two girls from their class for the Homecoming Court.  The voting on the finalists will go up Thursday night and the Court will be announced at the dance.  If you're curious what's involved with the booths check out the Homecoming Carnival from last year - or I'll link the threads in the OCD cause that's a big post.  OCD is up!]

Karal was very deliberately spending the evening doing something just for him, something that involved no work or stress whatsoever.

He was curled in a chair in the common room, reading The Hobbit Halfling, and really getting into it. There were occasional exclamations of surprise or excitement, but they were in Karsite, so they probably sounded a little strange.

The television was on, providing some background noise, but he wasn't watching it. Didn't mean other people couldn't, however.

[ooc: open, of course! Shhh, it always said Monday]

In an effort to keep himself from dwelling on things he didn't want to dwell on, Dean had abandoned his room and was sitting on the couch in the common room, listlessly flipping through the channels on tv. He paused on one of those court shows and shook his head after watching for a few minutes. "Okay, now those people are freaks."

[open as common rooms are wont to be]

After talking with Jamie last night, Cassandra had taken his advice and gone to the gym to work out some aggression. She must have had a lot of aggression because she didn't make it back to the room until around noon.

She was just toweling her hair dry after a long hot shower while frowning at her closet thinking that she should probably find some way to obtain more clothes. Only having three outfits made for frequent trips to the laundry room.

[ooc: Door's open.]

Working inside all day had left Ino craving fresh air and evening found her sitting up on the roof of the dorms, dangling her legs off the side of the building and reviewing her Ethics notes in an attempt to keep Master Skywalker from threatening her with detention for the third week in a row.

It wasn’t going so well.

She kept getting side-tracked by other things, like the wind, or the sky, or how she should probably be training instead of wasting her time – but lacking the energy to go and do something constructive – or coming up with a way to write her dad without mentioning anything that had happened on the weekend.

Ino leaned further over the side of the roof. Maybe she should practise her chakra control? Walking down the building would be more of a challenge than the wall over her bed.

Hmmm.

[Open like an open thing!]

Adam was in the mood to just hang out, after working at Wonders of the World. So he made some popcorn and took a seat on the couch, trying to find something worth watching.

Oh, look. An episode of Abaranger was on. Adam boggled a lot less this time around, but there was still a little bit of staring as the opening credits began.

[OOC: Bored! So very, very open!]
