intraspective: (relax)

Ino had woken early and done a bit of handwavy training, before heading back to the dorms and showering. Now she wandered into the common room with a scroll to read and a large bag of smarties.

Curling up on the couch she turned the TV on just for some noise and settled in to read. And eat smarties. She was totally open to distraction though.

Flag football practice can't happen when the people involved don't remember who they are or that they should be at flag football practice. Happily that was last weekend. This weekend there was practice. Wonderful and amazing practice.

There were flags, there were balls, and there were mats. Why mats? Just in case people wanted to practice falling on their behinds like they will during the game that will happen at some point in the near future if at all possible.

John informed the newbies their team affiliations upon arrival (Peter=blue, Harry=gold), but it didn't matter as inter-team mingling was encouraged. Especially where taunting was involved.

Johnny had handwavily gone off island today to buy Savannah a birthday present, and the time alone was spent in much thought. Funny how a guy like him could be so reflective.  Sue would like it, Reed might be proud, but Ben would totally call him a dork.

Whatever. Ever since Homecoming and his dance with a certain someone, Johnny hadn't been able to think real clear. He should talk to Savannah, be open and honest... but damn that was going to be hard. And then hearing the radio and... yeah. He wasn't so sure just how much that dance meant and maybe he was just reading into it more than necessary.

Anyhow, he was on the roof, being reflective cause he could. And being a roof, it was totally open to anyone else who wanted to be on it.

Don't ask how Rikku had come up with a volcano. It had involved a little research, a little shopping, and a little Al Bhed explosives know-how. And now, there it was, a volcano on the school lawn. Hooray!

Rikku was waiting very patiently for an old friend to stop in. You couldn't blow up a volcano without the guest of honor, after all.

(Open, but with the same OOC restrictions as yesterday: Hamlet is currently a ghost, so your character would likely need either spiritual powers or a previous attachment to him to be able to actually see and talk to him. Otherwise, all you'll get are a drop in the temperature and lingering bits of ectoplasm.)

Meg was bored. When Meg was bored she tended to get the urge to cook something. So now she was in the kitchen, making chocolate chip cookies. There was no telling how many cookies will actually end up in the oven since she kept eating the raw cookie dough. It was good, dammit.

Jamie has $999 worth of pudding.

It's a lot of pudding.

Currently he's cooking it and letting it chill. When it's done chilling a dupe takes it down the hallway to his room.

And the process repeats itself.

He could have just gotten $900 worth of pudding. But he had the $999 dollars. So he had to get all the pudding.

And the reason why? Well... It was best not shared.
