Puppy flopped on his feet. Check.

Iron Chef on the television. Check. And it was Bonito battle to boot. He was terribly curious about sushi.

Extra brownies on the counter for anyone who'd like some. Check. And he now considered himself over his temporary phobia of chocolaty goodness.

All in all, it wasn't a bad Thursday afternoon. Even with the stupid hat on his head.

Aretha Franklin was fierce but Chuck Bass was fiercer, sorry to say. That was Chuck's logic as to why he didn't get a ridiculous hat (did Aretha have a catchphrase? No, she did not). One would think the island was too afraid to give Chuck the hat because he'd just make it work and then Fandom would explode from the awesome that would ensue.

That is what would really happen, you know.

Still, Chuck was wearing an item of clothing that was equal in fierceness to that hat (his scarf) and was sitting on the ledge of the roof, one leg hanging off the side and doing one of the things he does best. Which would be getting high.

God, he couldn't wait for those brownies.

As soon as she walked into the gym, the hat that had appeared on Dinah's head that morning was able to be removed. Whew. It wouldn't stay outside the gym though, perching perkily on her gym bag, so Dinah had a creeping suspicion it would end up back on her head at some point.

She started to punch the bag, trying to work out her lingering aggressions from Tuesday, and waited for Jen to show up.

Without Dinah, getting in a few rounds of practice shouldn't be too hard. Arthur picked a training sword that came a little short of the weight of his own, and picked a dummy. He slipped into his drills with ease, forcing everything else into the background.

It put less of a strain on him now to add some force to his blows, which was entirely welcome. Just a few more weeks, and he should be considered fit enough to return home.

If he did.

With a grunt, Arthur forced that away as well, and nearly took the dummy's bloody head off. If it had one.
