The Pool / September 17/ Early Morning
Thursday, September 17th, 2009 05:56 pmShe was by the swimming pool again. She'd arrived early even before the sun rose.
"You shouldn't be afraid of the water."
Azula narrowed her eyes. Wonderful. She was back.
Her mother sat on one of the benches still wearing the voluminous royal robes. "You could change your clothes once in a while."
"I could," her mother agreed, "but as you kept insisting, I am only a figment of your imagination. My appearance is dependent on you."
Azula rolled her eyes, "Whatever."
She faced the pool and studied the water. This time she didn't leap into the water instead she slid one leg then the other before slowly lowering herself into the pool. She braced herself for the onslaught of memories but to her surprise, none came.
Maybe the trigger was full immersion?
"See?" Her mother's voice said again, "It wasn't so hard, was it?"
Azula scowled, "Oh, shut-up, mother."
(Open! Azula's 'guest' is NFI but Azula is open for interaction or mocking!)
