Amazingly, the two co-leaders of the frat hadn't forgotten that it was Friday and that meant it was meeting time. Today, the frat was meeting in the gym. No, there were not any uniforms in sight. Professor Dex was the evil one.

"Welcome back," Hannibal started, looking around. "Bit of a change of venue today but we thought it'd be worth it. See, while the sorority might sit around and gossip, we don't."

Well, they don't JUST gossip.

"Today, we're getting active," he added. "Physical. Aggressive. Call it what you will."

and there is flist saving under here! )

[preplayed with that raunchy dirty naughty prince, [livejournal.com profile] bitch_prince. the frat is in the gym but the gym is also open for other gym needs!]

Karla looked around and nodded in satisfaction. There was a big glittery banner that said "CONGRATULATIONS TAHIRI!" hung over one wall. She wasn't going to admit it, but playing the glue and glitter and paint had been a lot of fun. Though, with the residual glitter in her hair (and the occasional glittery hand print on the banner), someone might be able to tell.

There was one table completely devoted to ice cream (and wrapped in cold spells). The centerpiece was, of course, a giant ice cream cake with a frosted lightsaber on it. Karla couldn't make any guesses about how accurate it was, but there was a greyish hilt and a I was tempted to say red blue beam coming from the front. It was enough to get the point across, dammit. She'd had to explain to the Chilly Boulder guy what she meant by lightsaber anyway. Though he immediately knew who Ben and Tahiri were. The table wasn't entirely covered by ice cream, as Dinah had mentioned bringing some, too.

It's possible that there may be an ice cream shortage at Chilly Boulder tonight. Sorry.

In the kitchen, there was even more food; this time covered in warming spells. Mostly there were pizzas with a variety of toppings, but she'd also gotten some sides from most of the other restaurants in town. Someone wanted to have pizza with a side of lobster bisque and quesadillas? Totally not a problem. There were also a variety of drinks and, stashed away in the fridge, a few steaks and a chicken--raw, of course--for Blind Seer.

As far as she could tell, everything was done. And if not...well, they could cope. Now the only thing to do was wait for the guests to arrive.

...and try not to cut into the cake before they arrived. It did look good.

[For those invited, please! Up early for great SP justice! Hopefully I will be able to respond to pings, but making no promises. I am very susceptible to Quil, of both the Day and Night varieties. But I had to get this up. OCDon its way up!]

As usual, Leto was in the salle on Friday afternoon. He had students that would show up eventually although they can of course do so handwavily if they want, and before that he had time for his own training. As he was alone he launched the spinning blades and, as they hurled towards him, dodged and parried their assaults. He couldn't help wondering, after the fight last Sunday, whether Illyria knew how to use knives.

Usually Chuck wasn't much for doing big things with his Friday nights. Hardly a big weekend party-goer.

However, it wasn't just any Friday night that a guy turned fifteen. So, tonight was for celebrating. Okay, so, making dinner with his sister might not be every guy's dream idea of a birthday party, but it was pretty traditional for them.

So far, food was in the oven, and now it was really just a case of waiting and trusting in Ellie's cooking skills (which were considerably better than his). He was pretty confident it would be great, and already flopped out on one of the couches eying the cake. That was the part he really wanted right now.

"You sure we have to be traditional with the first course eating first?"

[[[livejournal.com profile] awesomebigsis modded with permission. Patented Bartowski dinners involve a lotta food and all sorts of people dropping in, so.... Can definitely be open!]]

Pretty much the best part of this week was that it was it was over.  Also that there had been teddy bear samurai/ninha fighting in History today  That was awesome.

Beyond that?  Total loss of a week, and Rose was watching it go out to the backdrop of a Project Runway marathon.

...not that she was interested in the show of course.  Just that there wasn't anything else on.  Really.

[*mods the teevee omg as my sad lack of cable means I'm watching yesterday's ep today*]
